Workshop on 3D geological models in urban subsurface

From 20.10. to 22.10. 2015 CGS hosted a worskhop in the framework of the European COST Action Sub-Urban, which is focused on creation of 3D geological models of the urban subsurface and their inclusion in the land use planning process. Workshop was called „Good practice workflows and tools for integrated urban subsurface modelling“ and was attended by 35 participants from geological surveys, cities and universities from 19 European countries.This project runs until April 2017 and one of its main results will be examples of best practices from European cities and tools and instructions for creation and usage of 3D geological models.
