As a result of the greatest historic changes in its long history the Bulletin of Geosciences had conceded at the beginning of 2006, the quarterly has been available as a ISI database on the Web of Science since the first number of 2007, its impact factor being ascertained concurrently. The Bulletin has become the second periodical in the Czech Republic ranking among the very significant international science magazines. Implying an indisputed success, this event is, however, not considered to be a final achievement but striving for the best-quality work of all of us continuously.
