Second workshop of the IGCP-662 Project “Orogenic architecture and crustal growth from accretion to collision“ was held in Mongolia from July 4th to 10th. The invited lecture of the meeting was given by Prof. K. Schulmann. Field trip to Gobi-Altai accretionary wedge in the area of Chandmani soum represented the main item of the meeting agenda. The program of excursion was prepared by the Czech Geological Survey in cooperation with Faculty of Science of Charles University. The excursion evaluated geological works of the Czech Geological Survey in Mongolia.
