Prestigious international award for the Czech Geological Survey

The Czech Geological Survey received a prestigious award „Special Achievement in GIS Award” during the 24th Annual ESRI User Conference, San Diego. The price, awarded for the Creation and development of GIS in the CGS, was given personally by the President of ESRI Jack Dangermond. CGS belongs to 40 awarded private firms & governmental institutes having been chosen from 150,000 sites using the GIS SW of this company. ESRI also included the map entitled “Czech Geological Survey - Using the National Geodatabase GEOCR50“ in the ESRI Map Book Volume Nineteen publication.
