On Friday, 17 September 2010, a two-day conference, held by the (Ant)ARCTIC Matters initiative, was initiated in the Municipal House in Prague. Many outstanding Czech and world experts took part in the conference, among them Daniel Nývlt from the Czech Geological Survey, who presented a lecture on outcomes of the research carried out by our employees in Antarctica. An exhibition held as part of the conference displayed interesting geological objects that were found in Antarctica (you can see a video in a link of the subtitle).
