The German-Polish-Czech team has finished the geological map 1 : 100 000 „Lausitz-Jizera-Karkonosze“. The map without the Cenozoic cover consits of three sheets and covers an area of 20 000 km2.
The editors of the map from all three countries have been awarded by the German geological society „Gesellschaft für Geowiessenschaften e. V. Berlin“ by the honorary medal of „Abraham-Gottlob-Verner Ehrenmedaille“.
The map has Czech-English legenda containg 250 items and is supplemented by Comments in English. The map can be ordered in the CGS or bought in one of our bookstores in Praha-Klárov, Brno or Jeseník.
