As part of the official visit of Prime Minister Petr Fiala to Ethiopia, a presentation of key Czech development cooperation projects was held on Saturday, November 4th, at the Ministry of Water and Energy in Addis Ababa.
The high-level event was attended by Ethiopian Federal Minister of Water and Energy Habtamu Itefa Geleta and State Ministers Abraha Adugna and Sultan Wali.
The Czech Geological Survey (CGS), a leading implementer of Czech development assistance in Ethiopia, presented its successful results in the fields of geological, hydrogeological and soil mapping, directly impacting sustainable natural resource management. The CGS also showcased its follow-up activities, featuring the compilation of national geological and hydrogeological maps of Ethiopia and 3D geological modelling using artificial intelligence.
