The report Czech Geological Survey Abroad, currently published both in Czech and English version, gives an overview of the most important international activities undertaken by the CGS during the last seven years. These activities include the projects of Foreign Development Cooperation programme of the Czech Republic in Nicaragua, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Peru, Zambia, Namibia, Burkina Faso, Mongolia, Afghanistan and Vietnam, financed by the Ministry of Environment and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, as well as the Research and Development projects in Central America, Zambia, Namibia, Antarctica, Uzbekistan, Russia and Austria. A brief summary of some bilateral cooperation projects, foreign contracts (in Iran, Iraq or Mongolia) and international educational activities is also given. The report is focused mainly on the projects that took place from the major part in foreign territories. Therefore, a wide range of significant international projects, in which the CGS participates from the homeland and shares the results with foreign partners only in symposia or conferences, has been omitted.A list of original titles of projects and their funding is included in the end of the report.
