A prestigious award for the Czech Geological Survey

Representatives of the Czech Geological Survey received the SAG Award (Special Achievement in GIS) during the 34th Esri International User Conference in San Diego, USA. This award is given to acknowledge exceptional applications of geoinformation technologies in real life.
Esri president Jack Dangermond gave this prestigious award to the Czech Geological Survey for a complex deployment of GIS in the information system of the state geological survey, from the field work and creation of geological maps, to providing of information both to experts and broad public.
