A prestigious award for the Czech Geological Survey

November 13-14, 2013 were the days of the 22nd annual GIS Esri conference in the Czech Republic, which took place in Prague and hosted more than 800 GIS fans. Czech Geological Survey has been awarded a prestigious award for a complex deployment of GIS in the information system of the state geological survey. Czech Geological Survey presented its work in many ways during the conference – one of the keynote speakers was volcanologist Vladislav Rapprich, other forms of presentation included one user presentation, eight posters, live demonstration of the map application of geological maps at a scale of 1 : 50,000, and a display of a large-format map Geological map of the Czech Republic 1 : 500,000.
