Czech Geological Survey is active in the research of CO2 Capture & Storage
Jaroslav Aichler
Czech Geological Survey belongs to the pioneers in the research of CO2 Capture & Storage (CCS) in Central Europe. This technology is one of the important possibilities how to reduce the amount of greenhouse gasses in the atmosphere and contribute to the reduction of climate change. The CGS is a partner in several national and international projects focused on CCS issues and a member of CO2NET, the international Carbon Dioxide Knowledge Transfer Network. Within this membership, the CGS has published the Czech version of a public information brochure, addressing the CCS topic entitled "A Down-to-Earth Solution to Climate Change". The original English version of the brochure can be downloaded from the CO2NET website.
