On the occasion of the International Year of the Planet Earth, the Czech Geological Survey has published a wall calendar comprising children’s pictures which were awarded in an art competition called My Piece of the Planet Earth (www.geology.cz/soutez).In their unique, fascinating and honest way, children from the whole of the Czech Republic expressed themselves to the environmental and geological subjects, to the problems that more and more urgently torment the planet including all of us.
